It is the perfect base to explore the many attractions surrounding this beautiful part of the English Border Country. The Farne Islands, home of our local heroine Grace Darling and the Longstone Lighthouse, lie a few miles off Seahouses Harbour. The bird and seal colonies on these islands can be visited on a boat trip from the harbour which is only a few minutes walk from our guesthouse. The famous castles at Alnwick, Bamburgh and Lindisfarne (Holy Island) are all just a short drive away.
